Sabrina works in Burlington on Sundays and in Milton on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s.
My practice services individuals, youth, couples and groups.
Do you find yourself struggling to cope with life challenges and transitions, whether this be in work, school, home life or within various relationships? For many this leads to feeling overwhelmed and uncertain of how to appropriately manage. Avoiding emotional needs can perpetuate further distress leading to unmanaged anxiety, depression, grief, and resentment. This also has a negative impact on physical wellbeing and overall life satisfaction.
Within a safe judgement free environment, clients are provided opportunity to express and process their emotions. Through a person-centered lens, I work alongside clients in developing individual plans of action to help them better cope and reach identified goals. Sessions will be available through in-person and virtual appointments to suite your schedule needs.
It is my passion to help others live their best life. This will look different for each individual person but may start by identifying concerns, learning healthier coping mechanisms, and grounding skills, challenging negative thought patterns, building healthier boundaries and routines.
Contact Inner Oak for a free consultation today, I look forward to building a strong working relationship with you.

Over the course of my experiences, I have come to learn with certainty that life is chaotic and the one thing we truly have control over is how we respond. I walk with people of all ages during life’s challenging moments, when the path is not visible. Together we will reconcile the discomfort of this experience and harness the wisdom it carries to invite more of what aligns into your life. Life can be hard. It can get better. Let’s discover how together. I welcome a free consultation to explore working together. Education and Experience Triena graduated in 1999 from Ryerson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Worker (BSW) with a minor in Public Administration. Triena earned her Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) at York University in 2004 and was awarded the Gerry Erickson Book Prize for Best Research, for her research on “The Role of the Protection Worker in Recidivism in Child Welfare.” Triena has served communities in the Greater Toronto Area since 1998 through her roles in policing, education, child welfare and family law. Triena has provided crisis response, ongoing counselling, consultation, and case management services to people during some of life’s darkest moments. Triena has testified in criminal and family law trials and has been invited to speak at a variety of conferences and trainings, primarily on matters related to risk of emotional harm to children in separation and divorce, trauma aware care and the application of therapeutic jurisprudence. Triena’s practice is continually evolving as she integrates Mindfulness, Interpersonal Neurobiology and Therapeutic Practices, DBT, CBT, ASIST, IFS, SFBT, Trauma Aware Care, ERP, Collaborative Law-Family Professional and other tools and trainings to support those she serves.
